AeroRooms Prague Airport

AeroRooms is the only accommodation inside Prague Airport: a small, airport-run block of double and triple rooms in Terminal 1, split between the public area and the transit area behind passport control. It exists for exactly two situations, the overnight wait for an early departure and the long daytime layover, and it prices in two blocks to match: overnight from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am, day rooms from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Rooms

The rooms are compact doubles and triples built for sleep between flights rather than a city stay, with bathrooms and a snack bar and relax area alongside. Shower use can be arranged separately, without taking a room.

The two sections

The public-area section is reached without passing security, from the connecting building between Terminals 1 and 2, and books like a normal hotel. The transit-area section is behind passport control in Terminal 1, the non-Schengen terminal, which makes it the option for passengers between non-Schengen flights who do not want to enter the Schengen area; it is booked directly with the airport ([email protected], +420 220 115 671). If your itinerary mixes Schengen and non-Schengen flights, confirm with the airport which section your routing allows.

Rates and Timing

Day use runs 11:00 am to 5:00 pm from about CZK 1200; overnight runs 6:00 pm to 10:00 am from about CZK 2400. Confirm current rates when booking; the airport adjusts them.

Location and Access

Terminal 1, with the public entrance in the T1/T2 connecting building. Terminal 2 departures are a few minutes’ walk landside; the terminal guide covers the layout.

Nearby Alternatives

Compare the Courtyard by Marriott Prague Airport (full-size rooms a covered walkway from Terminal 2), the Holiday Inn Prague Airport (on the airport grounds) and the Ramada by Wyndham Airport Prague (at Terminal 3 with a free shuttle).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is AeroRooms before or after security?

Both. One section is in the public area, reached from the connecting building between Terminals 1 and 2, and bookable like a normal hotel. The other is in the Terminal 1 transit area behind passport control, for passengers between non-Schengen flights; that section is booked directly with the airport by email or phone.

Can I take a room just for a few hours?

Yes. Day rooms run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm from about CZK 1200, alongside overnight stays from 6:00 pm to 10:00 am from about CZK 2400. Shower use without a room can also be arranged.

Who runs AeroRooms, and was it called something else before?

It is operated by Prague Airport itself and was formerly known as the Rest & Fun Center. Booking platforms may still show the old name; it is the same small set of rooms.
